the early childhood center at Oklahoma islamic academy
Oklahoma Islamic Academy is excited to announce its highly anticipated addition of our NEW Early Childhood Center or ECC.
OIA's newly acquired, state-of-the-art facility sits on the same campus as OIA's lower school just north of the main building. The ECC shares an attached patio and fenced in playground, but conveniently has its own classrooms, restrooms and kitchen.
OIA's ECC is an exclusive facility for our 3, 4 and 5 year olds.
OIA's lead teacher, Mrs. Najat, and her ECC team will provide our 3 to 5 year olds
with developmentally appropriate, higher-level learning each day.
Our goal is for our preschoolers to be kindergarten-ready and savvy!
Our assigned ECC teachers are highly-qualified, experienced early childhood instructors, with a strong grasp on the English language.
OIA's coherent-curriculum begins at the 3 year old level. Our curriculum is:
(1) well organized and purposefully designed to facilitate learning,
(2) free of academic gaps and needless repetitions, and
(3) aligned across lessons, courses, subject areas, and grade levels.
As OIA students graduate from the ECC and transition to the main lower school, they will progress from Early Emergent Readers to Emergent and Novice Readers. Additionally, our early childhood program places a strong emphasis on math, science, social studies and writing.
Our ECC program has limited capacity as we strive to keep our class sizes small and our instruction targeted and individualized. Enroll today.
We are anticipating a waitlist for the 2021-2022 academic year.
